This data is stored in a JSON file on our server. We do not share it with third parties. We do not use it for advertising.
A one-time 6-digit code is sent to your email to verify ownership. The code expires in 10 minutes. The OTP and session data are deleted after successful verification or session expiry. Your email address is retained as part of the download registration record for up to 3 years unless deletion is requested..
Our web server automatically logs standard HTTP access data (IP address, timestamp, URL requested, browser user-agent). These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days and used only for security and debugging purposes. We do not use logs for profiling or tracking individual users.
We maintain aggregate per-OS download counts (Windows, macOS, Linux) and a total download counter displayed publicly on the website. These are aggregate numbers only — no personal data is associated with them.
On first launch, SQLBook presents this privacy policy and asks for your acceptance. When you accept, the following is recorded on our server:

| Hardware identifiers |
The following non-changing device identifiers are collected and sent to our server encrypted using AES-256-CBC encryption. The raw values are never stored in plaintext on our servers — only the encrypted form is saved. These identifiers are used solely to verify device identity in the event of a legal dispute regarding acceptance of this policy.
